Product Overview
The BEC-718 is a microcomputer-based arc flash protection device specifically designed for medium and low voltage busbars in power plants, substations, and industrial enterprise power supply systems, providing fast arc flash fault detection and clearing. The device can be distributed and installed inside switchgear or centrally integrated into panels. It can work in coordination with other protection and automation devices via communication interfaces to form a complete automation system.
Protection Functions
The device is centered on arc flash protection, achieving fast busbar protection by detecting fault arc light signals, effectively shortening fault clearing time and minimizing the damage caused by arc flash faults to equipment and personnel. It also provides binary input protection, which can connect external non-electrical signals and status signals to implement interlocking protection and logic control.
Control Functions
The device supports remote control operations, meeting the requirements of unmanned and smart substations. The main control functions include remote open/close operations and remote protection enabling/disabling, enabling remote monitoring and fast control of equipment.
