Product Overview
The BEC-717 is a microcomputer-based bay monitoring and control device specifically designed for power plant and substation automation systems, featuring comprehensive power measurement, electrical parameter monitoring, and control functions. The device can be installed inside switchgear for distributed deployment or centrally integrated into panels. It can work in coordination with other protection and automation devices via standard communication interfaces to form a unified automation system.
Protection and Monitoring Functions
The device provides zero-sequence overvoltage alarm function, capable of real-time monitoring of 3U₀ voltage abnormalities and issuing alarm signals. It also features bus PT break detection, enabling timely detection of VT secondary circuit break faults to ensure the reliability of measurement and protection functions.
Measurement and Control Functions
Supports comprehensive electrical parameter measurement, including voltage, current, active power, reactive power, power factor, frequency, and energy metering. Control functions cover remote open/close operations and remote protection enabling/disabling, enabling remote monitoring and precise control at the bay level.
