Product Overview
The BEC-819KE is a microcomputer-based on-load tap changer (OLTC) control relay specifically designed for power plant and substation automation systems, used to acquire status information of high-power on-load tap changers and to enable monitoring and control of the tap change process. The device is equipped with flexible communication interfaces and can be installed independently in power distribution equipment or integrated into relay protection panels, forming a complete automation system together with other relay protection and automatic devices.
Protection Functions
The device provides logic control functions related to on-load tap changing, capable of connecting tap changer position status and external signals to implement logic control and interlocking protection during the tap change process, ensuring safe and reliable voltage regulation of the transformer.
Control Functions
Supports local and remote control operations, meeting the requirements of unmanned and smart substations. The main control functions include local/remote open/close operations, remote setting modification, and remote protection enabling/disabling, enabling remote monitoring and precise control of the on-load tap changer.
