Product Overview
The BEC-815KC is a microcomputer-based differential protection device specifically designed for hydro and steam generators with a capacity not exceeding 50 MW. Serving as the main protection for generators, it integrates complete protection, measurement, and control functions. The device can work in coordination with other relay protection and automation devices via communication interfaces to form a complete power plant automation system.
Protection Function
The device provides a comprehensive generator protection configuration centered on differential protection, covering main protection functions such as differential instantaneous overcurrent protection, percentage differential protection, and transverse differential protection. It also integrates stator ground fault protection and binary input protection, meeting the requirements for fault detection and system response under various generator operating conditions.
Control Function
The device supports local and remote control operations, meeting the requirements of unmanned and smart power plants. The main control functions include local/remote open and close operations, remote setting modification, remote protection enabling/disabling, and programmable protection/signal output configuration. The device also supports CT power harvesting and split trip functions for specific application scenarios.
